Benefits of clear aligner treatment
SureSmile offers patients many benefits as compared to traditional metal braces. At Bite Family Dentistry, we understand the need for convenient orthodontic treatment that effectively treats tooth alignment issues.
Removable
Unlike traditional braces that are affixed to teeth, clear aligners are removable at all times. Simply take out your aligners before you eat and drink or brush and floss, for there’s no need to adjust daily activities to accommodate your treatment.
As you need to constantly keep your teeth clean while wearing the aligning trays, your oral health can be greatly improved. Wearing aligning trays after you eat or drink can trap bacteria and debris in between teeth, allowing for cavities to form.
Discreetly Straighten Teeth
Created out of nearly invisible, sturdy materials, clear aligners are custom fabricated to directly form to your smile. Wearing your clear braces for 22 hours a day, patients who have major events or presentations can benefit from inconspicuous treatment. You don’t even need to remove the aligners, as they blend seamlessly with the rest of your smile.
Tailored Treatment
Dr Kara Bagdan and the orthodontists at SureSmile create a custom treatment plan to ensure your bite and smile is restored to full health and aesthetic. We utilize the Primescan intra-oral scanner to take detailed images of your smile, and send them to SureSmile. We invite you back to view your treatment plan and a projected view of your future results.
If you agree to the treatment plan, next we order your aligners and get started. Once treatment begins, we usually see patients every 8 weeks for quick checks until treatment finishes. We include post-treatment retainers for you to wear to make sure your teeth stay in place.
To ensure retention of your final results, we provide clear retainers and/or a fixed retainer behind the front teeth.
